Minerva and Isabelo, a sweet and wonderful Filipino couple living in Australia, came all the way from Down Under to Rome, to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary, in one of the most important chapels in St. Peter’s Basilica, the heart of the Catholic Church.
The chapel they renewed their vows is the the Chapel of St. Sebastian where Pope John Paul II is buried.

Minerva came in a stunning golden dress with a beautful golden bouquet of roses and Isabelo was dressed in a typical Filipino Tagalog shirt. Close family members were there, including their daughter and her husband. Father Bruno officiated the very touching ceremony.
After that we took some photographs around the Basilica and in the Piazza in front of the church.
For a Catholic couple, renewing their vows on their Golden Anniversary in the holiest city is a real privilege and we hope that they will look back at these photgraphs, as will their children, for many years still…
